I wanted to start a new photography project for 2014. I was having a hard time trying to figure out
what it was going to be. I had some
ideas but they all felt flawed. I wanted
a project that would illuminate the subject matter and give the viewer a
glimpse into their lives. My first
thought was to photograph people with their favorite hats. This idea soon bored me as I envisioned I
would be taking pictures of people wearing nothing but baseball caps. So that idea was scrapped. My next thought was to take pictures of
peoples most prized possession. I really
liked this idea but it needed some refining.
I was worried that I would be taking pictures of children and pets. I have nothing against other peoples kids and
pets but I didn’t just want to take pictures of kids and pets. In the end I decided to shoot peoples most
prized possession that was not breathing.
The number of responses I have received warms my heart. I wish to thank all my friends that want to
get involved in my little art project. If you wish to take part in my project please

Here is the first part in the series.
Sometimes life takes a turn and you are left wondering what to do and where to go. I felt like that when I was going through a tough time in my life. All those days when I felt like hugging a loved one and crying my heart out, "Hearty" (my heart pillow) gave me comfort. It bears on him not only my endless tears but also my dreamy smiles. It has been there with me in the darkest and brightest of hours. I guess to put it right, it has been an unconditional friend.
